A "sensitive" and "inspirational" new Channel 4 documentary will follow one couple's journey through an amicable divorce.

Channel 4 is making a "warm and honest" film following the moving journey of a separating couple. It will be a 360 degree view of the family's journey, allowing each party involved a voice. Each partner will be allotted his or her own crew to ensure impartiality.

This will become a close partnership based on mutual trust and the family will feet the support of the production team. The director's intention is that this process will allow the audience to feel genuine affection for all members of the family and witness a real sense of resolution.

Channel 4 are interested to hear from Fire Service employees who have had their relationships torn apart by the pressures of a career. They are also interested if couples are trying to work out the best way of divorcing without harming the children.

"Whatever your story or situation we would be interested to speak to you further if you are interested in finding out more about the project," said a spokesperson.
